Mother Goose

Mother Goose Co-operative Preschool is a non-profit organization that has been active in the community of southwest Hamilton for over 40 years.

More than a school, our co-op is a community of parents joining together to support and encourage our children as they grow and develop. Mother Goose is a great transitional step for children to help them prepare for full time schooling.

We are now accepting registrations for the 2019-2020 school year. Click here to view our updated registration package.

Mother Goose is a parent co-operative. We are a non-sectarian, integrated and non-profit school for children ages 2 1/2 to 4 years. We operate 5 days a week from 9am-12 noon throughout the academic school year.

Our school is staffed by 2 Registered Early Childhood Educators. Parents & caregivers  choose to act as volunteers in our classroom as their schedules allow. Volunteers are valued participants and play a key role in supporting exploratory play with all children. They are integral to making our co-op a unique learning environment for our early learners.

Our program provides a relaxed learning environment for children.  We focus on positive and responsive interaction, exploration and inquiry, in a play-based environment.

As an integrated preschool, we value the inclusion of children with special needs. The executive board, teachers and parents work together to ensure that the needs of all children are met.
